What is a blog, and how does it differ from a Story or Forum post?

A blog is a shortened form of the term "web log", which is simply an online journal. Generally, blogs do not follow any standard format or writing style. You can put anything in a blog -- a diary entry, a poem, a list of songs you're listening to, books you're reading, your pets, angsts, rants, reviews, links -- pretty much anything. You may even blog about another blog entry (of course you have to link to it so readers will know what you're talking about).

Blog entries do not necessarily have to do anything with Erotica. You may post anything in your Blog, as long as it does not contain warez (pirated software cracks and passwords) and child pornography.
